Description:

Skippy is an active 7 1/2 year old, 58 pound male with an excellent temperament.

He is well trained in basics (come, sit, stay, etc.). He LOVES people, gets along well with other dogs; however, as with most older dogs, he is not real tolerant of puppies.

He enjoys his walks and does not seem to wander far from his people. Like most bassets, Skippy is talkative ... but does not bark annoyingly. As far as we know he is good with children; his previous owner had five children.

He is housebroken, has clean teeth, recent clipping of nails, is up to date on his shots and heart worm medication.

Skippy has beautiful coloring and gorgeous brown eyes that beg for a stable, loving home.
