Name: Noodles
Breed: Basset Hound
Age: 6 Years
Sex: Male

Description:

Hi, my name is Noodles. I love carrots, apples, cheese, cuddling, sleeping, sun-bathing, and playing with balls of wrapped up YARN!

When I first came to my foster parents home, I was in miserable condition. I moved really slow and had no interest in playing with toys or other dogs. My ears were completely black from old built up skin cells and my armpits were very raw, red and very inflamed. I was missing a lot of hair on my back, ears, butt and tail. After several trips to the Vet, I FINALLY have a treatment plan that works for me. I really don't require that much care anymore. Now that my allergies are under control I really only require a bath about once a month or every six weeks. In between bath times I need a little sponge bath/wipe down for my armpits. which is only once or twice a week, depending on the weather and how it is affecting my allergies, and regular ear cleaning (which all us beautiful bassets require). So now that I am on a regular bath/wipe down schedule, antihistimine (don't need it all the time), vitamin A (for nice skin and coat), and a steady fish/ Salmon diet (for a nice shiny and soft coat) ... .I love to play with toys, steal socks, and run around with my foster parents' dogs with no problem.

Some of my funny quirks, that keep my foster parents laughing include:
~Talking while sticking my tongue out at the same time.
~Snoring loudly, day or night. Seriously! You can shake me like crazy and I will not open my eyes or stop snoring. Although my foster mom says I don't snore as bad as I used to. Must be because my allergies are under control.
~I think when your phone goes off that that is something I should alert you about, pretty much all the time.
~I like to lie, half way, in the bean bag.
~I like to cuddle and waller and lean my head into you and then eventually fall on or next to you.

Some other things my foster parents think you should know about me:
~I have lost a lot of weight, gained some muscle and am proud to say that I AM A SIZE HEALTHY now!
~I'm very laid back, most of the time ... a lot of the time.
~I'm good with kids.
~I travel very well and love going places.
~I listen well off leash.
~I'm very handsome and silly
~My coat is soft and shiny.
~My eyes are warm and loving.
~I'm worth the little bit of extra work required.
~I'm house trained and do not need a crate.

My foster parents and I hope to hear from you soon.

Looking for my forever home, Noodles
