Name:
Harley
Breed: Basset Hound
Age: 3-4 Years
Sex: Female
Description:
Harley a young (3-4 year old) female who appears to be housebroken as she has not had any accidents while she has been with us. She is very affectionate and at times she even thinks she is a lap dog.
Harley does well with young kids, but she takes a day or two to get used to new people and surroundings. She is very playful and does well with other dogs as well as cats.
Harley hasn't had much socialization with people and will bark at new people who enter the house. She takes a few minutes to relax and become approachable. She does not get aggressive, but will back away and bark.
Harley is very food motivated, in fact she is a master counter cruiser! She came to MBR overweight (66 pounds) and is now down to a lean 56 pounds. The vet said she is a perfect weight now.
Harley gets very excited at the beginning of walks but will soon calm down. She is getting much better at being on a leash.
