Description:

Buddy is a 2.5 year old boy who is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. He loves attention and will usually greet you going belly up so he can get belly rubs. He was very nervous in the shelter but after lots of hugging he is back to being a happy go lucky basset.

He rides very well in the car and loves to go out for walks and is excellent on the leash. When he is outside off leash he will come when called and learns quickly where home is. Buddy loves to chase a ball and he will train you to get it after he catches it.

He gets along great with other dogs as long as the first meeting is one on one otherwise he gets overwhelmed and retreats. He is non aggressive when food or toys are around.

Buddy will follow you everywhere!!! He is a cuddler in bed and will put his head on you for comfort. Buddy also knows how to sit up and stand on his hind legs without jumping on you. We haven't had him around children but the previous owner states that he gets along well with his grandchildren He is a great, fun-loving companion.
