Name:
Billy
Breed: Basset Hound
Age: Adult
Sex: Male
Description:
This is Billy, an adult male basset hound.
He was a little leary of strangers at first when new people come over, but he has been doing well, no aggression, just vocal, which scares some people and then he senses that. As time is going by, he's getting better about strangers..
Billy walks well on a leash (but not too far) and has no food or toy aggression. He likes to play with toys and shares them with his fosters' schnauzer.
He's done well being left alone for a few hours, and he sleeps through the night on his bed without any problems. He's proved to be trustworthy to being left alone uncrated and is completely housebroken.
Billy doesn't appear to be comfortable climbing a flight of stairs, so he has stayed on the first floor of his foster home. He has however adapted to the small number of steps off the deck.
He is learning basic commands, including "sit" and listens well even with other distractions outside.
Billy is not particularly crazy about cats, nor has he been around many children so we are not certain how he will do around kids. He likes to be around his humans and stays near at all times.
